Property Assessment Management System
(PAMS)

Latest News from PAMS

The Property Assessment Management System (PAMS) is being developed to be the Department of Treasury’s web-based property assessment and tax management system. Once implemented, PAMS will provide a modern tool for managing records and performing processes for the local assessor, collector, and tax administrator, as well as improving operations at the State level.

PAMS will replace MOD IV and will provide additional functionality in the areas of Assessment Administration, Appeals, Farmland, CAMA (computer aided mass appraisal), Sales Administration & Analysis, and Tax Billing & Collection. Implementation will begin with three pilot counties, Camden, Hunterdon, and Salem, and then will be rolled out to the rest of the state.

For more information about PAMS and the project status, click on "Info & Links" below to see past issues of the PAMS newsletter. Assessment staff will also find useful links, such as file layouts for Appeals conversion and CAMA interfaces.
