Detailed Forecast Discussion |
Updated Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11:45 a.m. High pressure is in control of the area this week. The result is abundant sunshine and warm temperatures. Afternoon high temperatures will reach the low/mid 70s. High pressure will strengthen to the north and east on Thursday and Friday. The result will be a tighter pressure gradient and breezy easterly winds, especially during the morning time frame. As a result, higher PM10 concentrations are expected for the Combs and PCH monitors. The PM10 levels in those areas are expected to reach the moderate category on Thursday. Check back on Thursday for an updated air quality forecast. Forecaster - SD. |
