GOALS II Application Specific Questions
How do access GOALS II applications?Answer: Some applications (FMS 224, FMS1219/1220,& FACTS II) are accessed by dialing into FMSNet (FMS' network system) using a browser to link to FMS system. Another group of GOALS II applications known as GOALS II Internet Access System (IAS) (Statement of Differences, Undisbursed and Receipt Reports, RFC Agency Link, Facts, Warrants, and Non-Expenditure Transfers are accessed using a browser connection to FMS ISP. The IPAC collection of applications are accessed using a browser connection to the Federal Reserve System. Who are the Application Administrators?Answer: What is GOALS II?Answer: A collection of applications that allows FMS to collect data from and disseminate reports to the Federal Program Agencies. Why do I need to enter a telephone number when I select the GOALS Help Desk?Answer: Your user profile is tied to your telephone number in our call-tracking system. When you enter your telephone number, your user profile information automatically appears in the call ticket. The customer support representative is then able to concentrate on your problem and its resolution. Do I need my SecurID card to access the Information Access System (IAS) applications, e.g., FACTS I, RFC Agency Link, Statement of Differences, Undisbursed, or Warrants?Answer: No. These are true Internet applications and are accessed like any other web site. Do I have to have a user profile file established before I call the GOALS Help Desk?Answer: No. As a matter of fact, ALL users are encouraged to call this support center.
