Be a part of history and serve as a volunteer for Inauguration 2009. In welcoming guests to Washington, DC many volunteers will be utilized for numerous duties around the city. You can help by volunteering for a shift between Saturday, January 17 and Tuesday, January 20 (with the majority of volunteer assignments occurring on Tuesday, January 20). 

Volunteers will assist in offering directional and informational support to enable residents and visitors to get safely to and from the National Mall and other key inauguration sites. Only registered volunteers will be assigned to these official duties. Volunteers will not be credentialed, and will, for the most part, participate in six hour shifts.
