DISCOVER DC

The District of Columbia makes available over 200 online applications via DC.Gov that provide access to data and services. The District of Columbia Mayor Adrian M. Fenty and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Vivek Kundra recently launched the District’s "Apps for Democracy" technology contest that ended on November 13, 2008. Software developers were invited to compete for the best new applications to make DC government data more accessible and useful for the public. Many of the District-built applications and those built by the citizens are listed here. We hope they will be helpful to you during your visit during the Inauguration.
