The Joint Readiness Training Center and Ft. Polk hosted their first Heritage Day Celebration on Nov. 3, 2007 at Ft. Polk, La. NCPTT’s Jason Church was on hand to speak to participants about caring for the more than a dozen family cemeteries that still remain on the military base. Family members and their descendents who owned the land before the military acquired it in 1941 were invited to the event. Over 400 participants attended the event.
