TO: : TITLE VI GRANTEES

SUBJECT : Native American Elders Report - 1997

LEGAL AND RELATED
REFERENCES : Sections 202(a), 614(a)(3) and 624(a)(4) of the
Older Americans Act, As Amended

The purpose of this memorandum is to provide the attached report, Native American Elders Report - 1997, for Title VI of the Older Americans Act. This report was compiled from data submitted to the Administration on Aging by the Title VI grantees for the 1995 project period. This report provides summary highlights on Title VI program performance, including persons served and services provided for 1995. Additionally, summary data for program performance for the years 1991-1995 are included.

The Administration on Aging appreciated the cooperation of all grantees in the submission of timely program reports in order to produce a comprehensive report on the Title VI program.
