Average Length of Stay (LOS) in Days of Hospital Discharges for Nontraumatic Lower Extremity Amputation with Diabetes as a Listed Diagnosis, United States, 1980�05

From 1980 through 2005, the average length of stay of hospital discharges listing both nontraumatic lower extremity amputation (LEA) and diabetes decreased about 24.6 days (from 35.3 to 10.7 days).
