OPEN SPACE BALLOT MEASURE RESULTS

Overall, 14 of 22 local measures (64%) in NJ to continue or increase funds for open space were approved Nov. 4th . That is an improvement over the 50% success rate for all measures in 2007. Click here to see how your community voted.

Creating a stable funding source for the preservation of parks, open space, wildlife management areas and historic resources continues to be a priority for New Jersey Conservation Foundation. The $200 million in funding approved by voters last November was only a temporary fix.
