My primary responsibilities are problem solving, developing and implementing mathematical or statistical algorithms for oceanographic research. The programming languages that I use are IDL, C and in the old days FORTRAN. Now I also use JavaScript (example), perl & other UNIX shell script languages to do system programming such as CGI. I have been periodically involved in AML programming for our GIS project. My current and past projects are Web Programming, T-Phase ( including Beamforming, Error Analysis ) and Sidescan. More about my works and background are shown in the summary of my experiences page including publications.
