  How Do I Tell What Version I have?
     
    Most browsers have a HELP section in the menu bar. One of the options under the HELP menu usually indicates the version of the software. Generally, this submenu is titled "About [name of software]". When you select the About submenu item, a window will open. The version of the software will be indicated.

  How Do I Upgrade my Browser?

  Go to http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us to find the files you need to download.
     
  How Can I Increase the Size of the Text in the Browser?
    Most browsers have a VIEW section in the menu bar. One of the options under the VIEW menu indicates TEXT Size.

  Downloading the Forms
    Each browser has a slightly different method for downloading forms from websites. In general though, you follow similar steps. Below gives a brief explanation of how to download forms from each of the three recommended browsers.

  1. Click on a link that indicates it is a file you can download. Throughout this website we will use the following format.
  Download>Form name [RTF format]
  1. A dialog box will open asking how you want to handle the file.

  • You can open the file [Open With]. But then you will have to save it to your computer.
 
  • You can save the file [Save to Disk]. By default, Firefox will save your file to the Desktop. If you want to change where Firefox saves the files see the steps below.
 
 
  Changing Where Firefox Saves Files
   
  1. From the TOOLS menu, select OPTIONS. A window like the one to the left will open.
  2. Click the DOWNLOADS icon on the left of the window.
  3. In the section titled Download Folder, click the down arrow to the right of "Save all files to the folder:" and select the folder on your computer.
