  The American Legion
  The American Legion was chartered by Congress in 1919. As a community-service organization, thousands of volunteers serve in leadership and program implementation capacities in local communities to the Legion's standing national commissions and committees.

  The NGWRC is an international organization providing advocacy for Gulf War veterans specifically in the areas related to Gulf War illnesses and those held prisoner or missing in action.
