Red Dress Collection PSA
The Red Dress Collection PSA features the 19 red dresses that make up the Red Dress Project. The Red Dress Project includes a collection of 19 red dresses contributed by America's most prestigious fashion designers, showcased throughout Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (February 7-14, 2003). The Red Dress Project is the centerpiece of The Heart Truth campaign, a national awareness campaign about women and heart disease, sponsored by the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Single Red Dress PSA The Single Red Dress PSA was the original idea for the Red Dress concept. It is both simple and alarming, serving as a reminder that heart disease is a women's issue. The Red Dress debuted at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week (February 7-14, 2003) as the symbol for women and heart disease, to raise awareness that heart disease doesn't care what you wearit's the #1 killer of women.
