Forms Allowed as PDF

• Note: If a new form is created late in the year as a result of legislative changes, and the software industry does not have time to enable the form in XML, then that particular form can be attached to the 1065/1065-B electronically filed return in PDF format.

The following new forms may be attached to the XML portion of the electronic return as a PDF file. Workarounds are being prepared until the Schemas are developed.

EIN/Name Control Business Rule

When this Business Rule is enabled, it will reject a tax return if the Name Control and EIN do not match IRS records. Modifications have been made to the Business Rule that should decrease the number of rejects.

• Proximal Match
• Name Change Box – If this box is checked, this would permit the return to be accepted. Changes to the name control will be made in downstream processing.
