HHS Assistant Secretary for Aging Josefina G. Carbonell will deliver keynote remarks at the 20th anniversary celebration of the Palm Beach/Treasure Coast Area Agency on Aging in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Background:
In addition to congratulating the Palm Beach/Treasure Coast Area Agency on Aging on its 20th Anniversary, Assistant Secretary Carbonell will address national efforts to help Americans live longer, healthier lives by streamlining access to long-term supports, ensuring high quality care and services, emphasizing prevention as a key to improved longevity, and advancing consumer direction and choice. Assistant Secretary Carbonell will also join in saluting Palm Beach/Treasure Coast Area Agency on Aging Chief Executive Officer Robert McFalls for his 30 years of leadership in the national aging network and will participate in a symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony of a new building for the agency.
