The 2008 Season of First Person was made possible by generous support from the Louis and Dora Smith Foundation.

First Person, hosted by journalist Bill Benson, is a program for the public featuring a series of conversations with Holocaust survivors. These eyewitness accounts unite personal experience with history in a way that is extraordinary in its immediacy and power. Each hour-long program is presented as a live interview with an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.

Sign language interpretation is available at every program. E-mail signedprograms@ushmm.org or call TTY 202.488.0406.

First Person programs are held on Wednesdays at 1 p.m. In June and July, First Person programs will take place on both Tuesday and Wednesday of each week.

The programs are also available as a podcast series.
