Subject:      Flood Disaster Protection Act
Description:  Revised Standard Flood Hazard Determination Form

TO:  Chief Executive Officers and Compliance Officers of All 
     National Banks and All Examining Personnel


Attached is a copy of the revised Standard Flood Hazard 
Determination form, “FEMA Form 81-93, Oct 02,” which replaces “FEMA 
Form 81-93, Oct 98.”  Either form may be used prior to March 1, 
2003, when use of the revised form becomes mandatory.  

The only changes made were minor revisions to the instructions.  
The new form is available on the FEMA Web site at 
[ http://www.fema.gov/nfip/sfhdform.htm ].  Camera-ready copies 
will be available the first week of December 2002 from the FEMA 
Warehouse at 1-800-480-2520.  The form may be used in a printed, 
computerized, or electronic manner.
