Site: Galley-Rhodes
Violation: There was no backflow prevention device on the potable water supply line for the hose connection on the combination oven.
Recommendation: Install a continuous pressure-type backflow prevention device on the potable water line supplying this unit.

Violation: There were no backflow prevention devices on the potable water lines supplying the coffee machines.

Site: Whirlpool/Spa-Riviera and Terrace Whirlpool Spas
Violation: There were no standard precautions and risks signs at the Riviera whirlpools. The sign at the Terrace whirlpool was worn and could not be read. Additionally, it was in a location where it was precarious to approach for reading.
Recommendation: Ensure that a sign is installed near the whirlpool spas that lists standard safety precautions and risks, warning against use by particularly susceptible people, such as those who are immunocompromised.

Violation: There were no standard precautions and risks signs at the Riviera whirlpools. The sign at the Terrace whirlpool was worn and could not be read. Additionally, it was in a location where it was precarious to approach for reading.
Recommendation: Replace and relocate the Terrace whirlpool sign so that it is easy read and easy to access for reading.

Violation: There was no fecal accident log and there was no mention of a log in the fecal accident procedure.
Recommendation: Ensure that a written or electronic record of all fecal accidents is maintained. Ensure that the record includes the pool name, date and time of the incidnet, response steps taken, free residual halogen level achieved following cleaning, and contact times.

Site: Swimming Pool-Kid's Pool
Violation: There was no anti-entrapment drain cover for the kid's pool. This pool was open.
Recommendation: Ensure that anti-entrapment drain covers or other drains that prevent entrapment hazards as specified in U.S. Consumer Product Safety Publication 363-009801 (dual drains/channel drains) are provided on swimming pools and whirlpool spas. Ensure that drain covers have either the plumbing/engineering approving organization stamp and flow rate affixed to the cover, or that a letter is maintained aboard the vessel certifying that the cover meets the safety requirements outlined in AMSE/ANSI A112.19.8M or an equivalent standard.

Violation: The date on the labels of the food containers was the production date. There was no 7-day discard labels on the food containers.
Recommendation: Ensure that refrigerated, ready-to-eat, potentially hazardous food: (1) Prepared on a vessel and held refrigerated for more than 24 hours is clearly marked at the time of preparation to indicate the date or day by which the food shall be consumed, which is 7 calendar days or fewer from the day the food is prepared with the day of preparation counting as day 1. (2) A container of refrigerated, ready-to-eat potentially hazardous food prepared and packaged by a food processing plant and held on the vessel after opening more than 24 hours is clearly marked, at the time the original container is opened, to indicate the date by which the food shall be consumed which is, including the day the original container is opened, 7 calendar days or fewer after the original container is opened. The day of opening is counted as day 1.

Recommendation: If time only, rather than time in conjunction with temperature, is used as the public health control for a working supply of potentially hazardous food before cooking, or for ready-to-eat potentially hazardous food that is displayed or held for service for immediate consumption, ensure that (1) The food is marked or otherwise identified to indicate the time that is 4 hours past the point in time when the food is removed from temperature control; (2) The food is cooked and served, served if ready-to-eat, or discarded, within 4 hours from the time when the food is removed from temperature control; and (3) The food in unmarked containers or packages or marked to exceed a 4 hour limit is discarded.

Recommendation: Ensure that each station includes: (1) A changing table that is impervious, nonabsorbent, nontoxic, smooth, durable, and cleanable, and designed for diaper changing; (2) A supply of disposable diapers, gloves, wipes, table cleanser, and disinfectant; (3) An airtight, soiled-diaper receptacle; and (4) An adjacent handwashing station.
