This program supplies meteorological towers, data logging equipment, and technical support to help interested communities and utilities quantify their wind resource. Forty-eight communities responded to AEA's recent offering of assistance. After a year's data is collected, the program's 20 towers will be relocated to other communities. Funding for this program is from the Denali Commission and U.S. Department of Energy.
