Administration on Aging - Congressional Mandate Grant Awards

Each year Congress directs that certain amounts be used to fund specific projects and/or entities at designated amounts outside of the competitive grants process. This type of award is referred to as a “Congressionally Mandated award” or “Congressional Mandate.” As funding for Congressionally Mandated awards is not competed, eligibility for these funds is restricted to the entities identified by Congress.
