Welcome from the Region IX Regional Office serving Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, Guam, American Samoa, and the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands.

The Administration on Aging is the focal point in the federal government for serving older persons and their families. The Older Americans Act established a National Network on Aging that includes the Administration on Aging, State and Area Agencies on Aging, Tribal Organizations and service providers. Through this network, older persons in each community have access to supportive and nutrition services. Persons age 60 and over may participate, and priority is given to the elderly with greatest economic or social needs.
