GREM Instructional Presentation Kits are 1-hour continuing-education seminars designed for medical educators to use in face-to-face sessions with primary health-care providers and other health professionals involved in environmental health. These kits consist of:
- a detailed script,
- PowerPoint slides,
- learner support materials,
- a Patient Education and Care Instruction job aid for clinician use, and
- a post-test.

GREM Web Stream Presentations are 1-hour, continuing-education, video Web streams designed for primary health-care providers and for other professionals who work in environmental health. Introduction
Grand Rounds in Environmental Medicine (GREM) are available and downloadable online in two versions.
Chemical Specific and Other Environmental Medicine Topics
Asbestos:
Asbestos is a group of 6 naturally occurring fibrous silicate minerals that have been widely used in commercial products. Asbestos occurs naturally, but much of its presence in the environment stems from mining and commercial uses.Web Stream

Using the Online GREM Instructional Presentation Kit
| Target population | The target populations for the GREM Instructional Presentation Kits are primary health-care providers and other health professionals who work in or are interested in environmental medicine. The kit is developed for an instructor for delivery in face-to face sessions. The Web-streamed version is also suitable for a group presentation (link). |
| Who should present? | The GREM Instructional Presentation Kits are designed for delivery by physicians or other clinicians who are familiar with the material and who are prepared to respond to audience questions. |

| How long will it take to present the topic?? | Each GREM Instructional Presentation Kit will take approximately 1 hour to present. This estimate includes taking the post-test online, which is required for obtaining continuing education credit. |
| How is continuing education received? | Continuing education credit is offered free of charge to physicians, nurses, health educators and other health professionals seeking CME, CNE, CHES, or CEU credit. Individuals who have taken one of the ATSDR GREM courses will need to complete and pass the online post-test. Note: If the GREM material is printed for hard copy use, the post-test will still need to be taken online to obtain CE credit. | Can a hardcopy of the GREM be printed and used? | A hard copy of the GREM’s associated slides can be printed and used for self study, but is intended for live instructor delivery. If the GREM material is printed for hard copy use, the post-test will still need to be taken online to obtain CE credit. |
