Learn more about how GSA can assist agencies in meeting their engineering needs at GSA Expo 2009.

The Professional Engineering Services (PES), provides a streamlined approach for federal agencies to access qualified firms in a multitude of engineering disciplines.

This Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) grants agencies direct access to the commercial experts who can address the needs of the federal engineering community. There are six Special Item Numbers (SINs) that comprise the distinct phases of an engineering project. These SINs cover the major disciplines of:

  • Mechanical;
  • Electrical;
  • Chemical;
  • Components of civil engineering;
  • Sub-disciplines such as: aerospace, nuclear, bioengineering, and marine architecture;
  • Construction Management.

SCHEDULE INFORMATION:

PES DOES NOT COVER:

Architect/Engineering (A&E), and Design/Construction services as defined by Brooks Act and in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) under FAR Part 36. For more information on these types of services, please visit GSA's Public Building Service.
