Comptroller Dugan Highlights Importance of Financial Literacy Programs
WASHINGTON — Comptroller of the Currency John C. Dugan highlighted the importance of financial literacy programs in remarks today for a telephone conference sponsored by the American Bankers Association.
“The more your customers know, the more likely it is that they’ll make the choices that are right for them,” the Comptroller said. “And the more they know, the less likely it is that they’ll have the kinds of problems that can destroy a customer relationship and damage your reputation in your community. Financial literacy really is a win for everyone involved.”
