You are cordially invited to participate in the "Partnerships for Health in the New Millennium" conference celebrating the launch of Healthy People 2010, January 24-28, 2000, in Washington, D.C. The program will focus on four themes: Partnering for Health Improvements, Eliminating Health Disparities, Increasing Quality and Years of Healthy Life, and Harnessing Technology for Health.
This conference is convened by the Healthy People Consortium and Partnerships for Networked Consumer Health Information and expects to draw more than 1,200 participants with diverse backgrounds from public health and health care organizations, academic and research institutions, businesses and employers, technology companies, community-based organizations, and government agencies.
The diverse and substantive program will include presentations from a wide range of individuals and organizations who can help focus and stimulate the variety of activities that will be needed to achieve our national health goals and objectives.
I hope that you will attend and share your experiences with myself and others at this important national conference.
