More than 1,500 attendees gathered in
Washington, D.C. for the landmark launch of Healthy
People 2010. Health professionals and students from various health
disciplines represented 46 states and 8 foreign countries. In addition,
many people joined the National Conference via Webcast or satellite broadcast.
