Draft Proposal for Reducing NJ's Greenhouse Gas Emissions Released
The State has released a draft plan outlining its strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Read draft and comment.

Six stakeholder meetings are planned between Jan. 6 and 16. Each meeting will be devoted to a different aspect of the plan. RSVP to these meetings. (Please indicate  all sessions you plan to attend.)

In the event of bad weather, notification of meeting postponement will be posted here and announced on a recorded message at (609)341-5311 by 5 p.m. the day before morning meetings and by 9 a.m. the day off morning meetings.

Session 1:  Green Buildings was held Jan. 6.

Session 2 Agenda: Industry, Electric Generating Units, Waste and Water, Postponed from Wed., Jan. 7; Rescheduled to January 22.

Session 3 Agenda:  Terrestrial Sequestration and Agriculture, Friday, Jan. 9

Session 4 Agenda:  Transportation: Vehicles, Fuels, and Infrastructure, Monday, Jan. 12

Session 5 Agenda:  Land Use and Transportation Planning, Wed., Jan. 14

Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) has drafted a report, "An Energy Efficiency Strategy for New Jersey: Achieving the Energy Master Plan 2020 Goals." Read draft report.
