The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services created Be Active Your Way: A Guide for Adults [PDF Version - 917 KB] aged 18 to 64 years. In the guide, you can read how you can fit physical activity into your life—your way.

The Guide is based on the 2008 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans. It can help you decide the number of days, types of activities, and times that fit your schedule.

Be Active Your Way: A Fact Sheet for Adults [PDF Version - 190 KB] summarizes the basic information in the 2008 Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans and provides examples of physical activity to help you get started.
