Welcome to the New Jersey Division of Taxation’s redesigned Web site. The navigation structure on the site has been updated to provide you with improved access to information about the taxes and fees administered by the Division. Please take a few moments to familiarize yourself with the menus and content links on our new home page.
The main navigation headings for the site appear on the dark green bar at the top of the home page. The headings provide direct access through drop-down menus to all the content areas within the site. This main navigation bar will be visible at the top of each page on the site. You will also find links to the Division’s most frequently accessed content (e.g., Electronic Services, Property Tax Relief, What’s New) on the home page. And if you still can’t find what you’re looking for using these headings, try searching the site index, which you can link to from the Taxation navigation bar at the bottom of each page.

Important Notes:
- Bookmarks. Since the page name extensions on the redesigned site have changed from “.htm” to “.shtml,” you will need to update your existing bookmarks.
- Last Updated Date. The “Last Updated” date at the bottom of a page shows when it was created or, if changes have been made to the original page, when the contents were last updated. When the Division’s redesigned site was launched, the “Last Updated” date on all pages automatically changed to Tuesday, 11/11/08 and no longer reflected the page creation/modification date from our previous Web site. The “Last Updated” date will continue to change automatically on any pages created or modified after 11/11/08.
