Pursuant to the IGRA, 25 U.S.C. § 2714, the Commission issues final agency decisions when it reviews the NIGC Chairman’s issuance of a Notice of Violation (NOV), Civil Fine Assessment (CFA), Temporary Closure Order (TCO), or the Chairman’s approval or disapproval of Management Contracts (MGMT) and Tribal Gaming Ordinances (ORD). The Commission may also convert a TCO into a permanent Closure Order (CO).  These decisions are provided below.

Decisions that require only the NIGC Chairman’s approval or disapproval appear on other portions of the website.  The Enforcement Actions page lists the Chairman’s issuance of NOVs, CFAs, TCOs and any related settlement agreements. The Management Contracts page lists the contracts approved by the NIGC Chairman and provides redacted versions of those documents. The Approved Gaming Ordinances page lists the gaming ordinances approved by the NIGC Chairman and provides redacted versions of them.
