ABOUT US

RESEARCH AREAS

The Eastside Forest Health Restoration Team is part of the Managing Disturbance Regimes Program of the PNW Research Station. The science team is inter-disciplinary with expertise in the fields of forest ecology, wildlife ecology, forest pathology, landscape ecology, fire ecology, and silviculture. Our focus is to serve the needs of our clients–the people and land managers in eastern Washington, and other areas with similar ecological and management conditions. Knowledge discovery, development, and applications demonstrate the interface of research with policy and management to help resolve issues of local, regional, national, and international concern.
