Acute Health Effects: From MSDS
Inhalation: May irritate respiratory tract. May cause headache, nausea, and dizziness. Narcosis may occur at high vapor concentrations. Methylene chloride will have an affect on the cardiovascular system. Eye Contact: Eye irritation may be severe. Corneal injury may result. Skin Contact: Will cause defatting of skin. Ingestion: Aspiration hazard if swallowed.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS
Long term exposure to high concentrations of vapor may cause kidney damage. Methylene chloride will have an affect on the cardiovascular system. Emphysema and asthma can be aggravated by exposure to graphite powder.
