Diabetes is a serious disease, affecting millions of Hispanic and Latino Americans and growing at epidemic rates. But, there is good
news: Diabetes can be prevented. By losing a modest amount
of weight, getting 30 minutes of physical activity 5 days a week, and
eating healthier, Hispanics/Latinos with pre-diabetes can delay or
prevent the onset of the disease. The "Prevengamos la diabetes
tipo 2. Paso a Paso." campaign spreads this important message of hope
to at-risk Hispanics/Latinos. All materials are available in English
