Department Awards Firefighter / Fire Officer of the Year
On December 6th, at the Fire Department's Annual Holiday Banquet, Fire Chief Nicholas Sohyda presented the Fire Officer of the Year Award to Lieutenant Tom Cook and the Firefighter of the Year Award to Master Firefighter Charles Wehrum. The recepients were nominated by their peers for demonstrating outstanding service to the Mt. Lebanon Fire Department and Mt. Lebanon residents with regard to fire prevention, fire protection, and/or suppression while upholding the core values and goals of the Mt. Lebanon Fire Department.
