Run the Demonstrations

Run the TimeSeriesDemo
This example uses a pre-created "Layout" for time series to simplify the construction of a plot. The LineTimeSeriesLayout can plot multiple lines, with a legend and provides zooming and line hi-light capabilities.

Run the ProfileDemo
This example uses a pre-created "Layout" for profile data to simplify the construction of a plot. The LineProfileLayout can plot multiple lines, with a legend and provides zooming and line hi-light capabilities.

Run the PointDemo
This example creates a very simple plot from scratch (not using one of the sgt.awt classes) to display a Collection of SGTPoint.

Run the GridDemo
This example uses a pre-created "Layout" for raster time series to simplify the construction of a plot. The RasterTimeSeriesLayout can plot a single grid with a ColorKey and supports zooming.

Run the LayoutDemo
This example creates a very simple plot from scratch (not using one of the sgt.awt classes) to display two lines. The demo shows how changing the LayoutManager from StackedLayout to GridLayout changes the plot appearance.

NOTE: The above applets are known to work with Netscape Navigator 4.0.6 or newer and Internet Explorer 4.01 or newer. The sgt code uses JDK 1.1 specific event handling and will not work with browsers that only support JDK 1.0.X. The applets will also work with the Java Plug-in (which is freely available). Click on the icon to see a larger version of the image or click on the link to the right of the icon to run the applet. Download time for slower links can be long, sgt.jar is 326K . Since all demonstration applets are included in sgt.jar, subsequent demonstrations will use a cached copy of the jar file and not require additional downloads.
