Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services (CO-OPS)
This Web site is a portal for the Center for Operational Oceanographic Products and Services, which offers one-stop shopping for real-time and historical observations of water levels, currents, meteorological, and other coastal oceanographic data from sites along the U.S. coast. Tide and tidal current predictions are also available through the site, as are model-generated forecast guidance in several large U.S. port areas.

PORTS Web site page
Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System
This Web site provides information about CO-OPS’s Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System, PORTS®. PORTS® measures, integrates, and disseminates observations of water levels, currents, salinity, wind, and bridge clearance, all of which help mariners to successfully guide ships into and out of the nation’s ports.  Additionally, PORTS® provides forecast model guidance in several major U.S. ports, which supports informed decision making in advance of transit scheduling and loading operations. PORTS® observations are updated at six-minute intervals and are available via the Internet and toll-free phone calls.

Tides Online page
