COMMUNICATION SKILLS

A set of video trainings designed to improve communication skills to work more effectively with patients and co-workers. Continuing Education credits are available. Accredited Sponsors: IHS Clinical Support Center and IHS Nutrition and Dietetics Training Program.

Requirements: You must have a computer with internet access and an internet browser such as Internet Explorer. You must also have Flash 8 Player installed on your computer to watch the videos. Click on the "Flash" link on the left navigation bar to install the player, if necessary. Building Relationships with Clients –   Presents information and provides the opportunity to practice effective communication strategies with clients. (60 minutes)

Handling Workplace Conflicts – Presents information and provides practical skills training to effectively resolve workplace conflict. (60 minutes)

Problem Solving Among Co-Workers –   Presents information and provides the opportunity to practice problem-solving skills. (60 minutes)
