The CDC’s Division of Diabetes Translation convened its annual diabetes conference April 30–May 3, 2007, at the Atlanta Hilton, 255 Courtland Street, Atlanta, Georgia. This conference discussed diabetes issues. The conference brought together approximately 600 participants from a wide range of local, state, federal, and territorial governmental agencies and private-sector diabetes partners. Conference Goals
2007 CDC Diabetes Public Health and Research Short CourseDiabetes experts presented a short course on diabetes and public health, translation research, health economics, social and behavioral research, and program development in 2006.
