About the Conference Objectives Tracks

Conference Tracks

Conference tracks have been developed to help our participants focus on sessions that are of most interest to them. This conference will include four tracks:

Innovations in Health Communication, Marketing and Media

This track will include research findings, theoretical developments, best practices and methods regarding new technologies, partnership models, tools, evaluation methods and emerging health communication, marketing and media trends.

Reducing Health Disparities

This track will include research and evaluation findings, theoretical developments, best practices and methods for using partnerships, health communication, marketing and media to reduce health disparities across racial, ethnic and socioeconomic groups. Topics addressing effectively providing information and interventions to "hard-to-reach" and "vulnerable" populations will be included.

Dissemination of Public Health Programs and Information

This track will include research and evaluation findings, theoretical developments, best practices and methods focusing on strategies, partnerships and distribution channels to effectively deliver public health information and programs as well as approaches to scaling health communication, marketing and media campaigns and programs.

Engaging the Public to Adopt Healthy Behaviors

This track will include research and evaluation findings, theoretical developments, best practices and methods for evaluation towards understanding different audiences and engaging individuals to adopt behaviors that improve their health and the health of their communities.
