New Contract for National Training Center and Clearinghouse

The National Library of Medicine is pleased to announce a five-year contract (2006-2011) to the New York Academy of Medicine to serve as the National Training Center and Clearinghouse (NTCC) in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NN/LM). The NTCC sponsors more than 40 classroom sessions across the country each year as well as Web-based training on NLM's information resources. The training is provided to health professionals, librarians, other professional groups, and members of the general public. In addition to providing training, the NTCC will focus on developing Web-based tutorials and improving its Web site in the new contract.
