HUGE TRAINS

I know people have been talking about the lack of  "shovel ready" projects and how even if we wanted to spend $1.5 trillion dollars on stimulous, there isn't enough money to do it.

So here's my idea, on which you'll have no trouble spending trillions of dollars.

My Idea is to build HUGE FRIGGIN' TRAINS -- all caps is mandatory -- that you can drive your car onto. The idea is, you drive your car onto a one of the cars of this huge train along with a bunch of other travelers and trucks, then the train takes off at like 400 miles an hour (it has to be faster then anything they have in france!) and takes you across the country.  There would probably be stations near Chicago, NY, DC, Huston, LA, SF, Portland, etc.  Of course, we wouldn't put any Flordia.

It would basically turn each city in the U.S. into a single megacity as far as driving is concerned.  This would boost the economy emensely and people wouldn't have to deal with flying, which is a huge pain since 9/11 (Oh, as a side note, make flying suck less)

Of course this is something to consider after going all going all green energy, with an upgraded electrical grid, etc.  But this would also be awesome.
