OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM/OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM (OEF/OIF) PROGRAM

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has collaborated with the Department of Defense (DoD) to seamlessly transition the health care of veterans returning from Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.  We are honored to deliver your health care, provide information about VA benefits and services and to assist with your transition to civilian life.

VA Northern Indiana Health Care System has a Seamless Transition Program (STP) point of contact, two case managers, patient advocate and an outreach coordinator to assist you:

The Point of Contact (POC) for our Seamless Transition Program is Mr. Harrison Reeder.

The Seamless Transition Program Clinical Psychologist is Dr. Birgitte Miller Ph.D.

The Seamless Transition Program Outreach Coordinator is Ms. Susan Reusser, LCSW

The Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance Traumatic Injury Protection program (TSGLI) is a traumatic injury protection rider under Servicemembers' Group Life Insurance (SGLI) that provides for payment to any member of the uniformed services covered by SGLI who sustains a traumatic injury that results in certain severe losses.
