Comments BIS-GMA is a dimethacrylated epoxy prepolymer based on bisphenol A and glycidyl methacrylate or methacrylic acid and an epoxy resin. BIS-GMA is commonly used as a prepolymer in dental composites. It can be cured by UV light, electron beams, and certain chemicals such as peroxides. [Kanerva, p. 564]
