Overview

In June 2007, CDC revised the 2005 HIV/AIDS Surveillance Report, which includes revised and corrected data on estimated AIDS cases for the period 2001 to 2005. Errors in the numbers of estimated AIDS cases included in the original version of the report are corrected in the Commentary, Tables 1–6 and 8–12, Figure 1, and Maps 1 and 2 of this revised report. The errors did not affect reported cases of HIV or AIDS.
