Acute Health Effects: From MSDS
Inhalation: High concentrations of vapor may cause headache, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea and respiratory irritation.

Eye Contact: Liquid or vapor may cause irritation.

Skin Contact: May cause defatting of skin on prolonged contact.

Ingestion: Can cause depression of central nervous system, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Medical Conditions Generally Aggravated by Exposure: Pre-existing skin, eye and respiratory conditions may be aggravated by exposure to this product.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS
Prolonged and repeated exposure will have the same effects as above as will any source of alcohol. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating or inhaling the contents may be harmful.

Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist. Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not take internally. Use only grounded and explosion proof equipment. Empty containers with liquid residue or vapor are flammable.
Disposal: From MSDS
Refer to applicable laws governing waste disposal and/or reclamation of recovered material. Place all recovered material into properly marked containers for disposal and/or transportation. Dried shellac is non-hazardous.
