Acute Health Effects: From MSDS
Inhalation: High concentration of vapor or mist may be irritating to the respiratory tract. Skin Contact: Contact with liquid or mist is not expected to cause irritation. No significant skin absorption hazard. Eye Contact: Contact with liquid or mist is not expected to cause irritation. Ingestion: Low order of acute oral toxicity. May cause irritation of the gastrointestinal tract, nausea and vomiting. Aspiration into the lungs during ingestion or vomiting may cause mild to severe pulmonary injury and possibly death.
Chronic Health Effects: From MSDS
Prolonged or repeated skin contact may cause drying and cracking or dermatitis. Prolonged or repeated inhalation of oil mist may cause oil pneumonia, inflammation with or without pneumonitis, fibrosis and paraffinoma. Individuals with pre-existing lung or skin disorders may have increased susceptibility to the effects of exposure.
