Pandemic Influenza Hearing

The House Appropriations Subcommittee on Labor, HHS, and Education (Representative Ralph Regula [R-OH], Chairman) held a theme hearing on “Pandemic Influenza.” CDC, NVPO, and NIH appeared together to discuss these issues in the context of the FY2006 budget request. Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, Director, NIAID, NIH, testified along with Drs. Julie Gerberding, Director, CDC, and Bruce Gellin, NVPO.
