ALBANY, N.Y. -- Several useful Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) publications designed to help New Yorkers rebuild their flood-damaged homes are a mouse click or toll-free phone call away.

Order these publications by calling 1-800-480-2520 or download copies from the FEMA web site at www.fema.gov. On the web site, type in the name and/or number of the publication, or the word "mitigation," in the "Advanced Search" box at the top right corner of the FEMA home page, or select the "Recover & Rebuild" topic tab at the top of the page.

You can download or order publications on other topics such as mitigation, managing stress, preparing for disasters and FEMA for Kids from the FEMA publications warehouse too. Find these by selecting "Publications" using the drop-down box toward the bottom of the left-hand column entitled "How Do I Find." Many are available in Spanish and other languages.
