Union Card-Check Legislation Must Be Defeated

1/12/2009 - The Employee Freedom of Choice Act, which Congress could take up within the next few weeks, must not be passed as it would allow workplaces to be organized if a majority of workers indicate support by signing a petition or a postcard, without the protection of a federally supervised secret ballot election. We strongly oppose this measure because we believe that decades of experience have shown that current law equitably balances employer and employee interests. Read more.

CMS Publishes Advance Copy of Hospice Program Interpretive Guidance Version 1.1

1/12/2008 - The advance copy of the hospice interpretive guidance represents the most recent guidance related to the 42 CFR Part 418 Conditions of Participation for Hospice and became effective Jan. 2.
