component of the 2002 National Health Interview Survey.
The
percent of adults aged 65 years and over who received pneumococcal vaccine
was 25.7% for Hispanic persons, 60.1% for white non-Hispanic persons, and
31.7% for black non-Hispanic persons.
White
non-Hispanic persons were more likely than Hispanic persons and black
non-Hispanic persons to have ever received pneumococcal vaccine.
